Makers & Shakers celebrates and supports independent artisans and collectors with a love of old things.
We offer vendors a unique space to promote and sell their merchandise. Our shop is filled with an eclectic mix of consignment furniture and vendor rented space that has been carefully curated with the direction of our talented owner, Pati.
Makers & Shakers covers the business side of selling, so you do not have to. Our team handles the advertising, cash register, customer relations, monthly sales reports, building maintenance and all of the legal stuff.
We are a 100% vendor run shop. That means we do not hire employees to help customers on the sales floor. Each vendor works twice a month to help around the store.
The vendor’s role is to regularly stage and restock their booth with appealing merchandise for our customers. We also encourage our vendors to promote their merchandise through social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest.
On occasion we are in need of consignors with high quality items to help stock our shelves.
We accept the following items:
- Gently used furniture (antiques, mid-century, retro)
- Custom furniture
- Home decor
- Musical instruments
- Aviation, nautical, and military items
Our consignment program offers a 50/50 split for 90 days with no hidden fees. This is an easy option to make money on the side.
Simply email a picture of your furniture and prices to email@example.com to get started. All submissions must include a detailed description and clear pictures. Once the item is approved, make an appointment to drop off or have your items picked up (fees apply for pick ups).
Please note that Makers & Shakers has the right to deny any items that arrive in a different condition than submitted.
